I know what it feels like to work hard and still feel weighed down by financial obligations.
At one point, I had student loans, credit card debt, a car loan, and all of the other bills necessary to raise a family.
I didn't just want another paycheck, I wanted a plan, progress, and peace.
I started by paying off my smaller debts first and continued working my way through them.
At the same time, I increased my savings and started learning about investing.
Over time, I became debt-free, built savings, and began investing consistently.
The moment that changed everything for me wasn’t a big, dramatic event.
It was a quiet realization that AI wasn’t going away and that I had a choice to make.
I had been a court stenographer for over 30 years. I had built a career on precision, discipline, and showing up prepared every single day. That’s not something you learn overnight. That’s something that gets built into you over decades of sitting in rooms where the stakes were high, and the margin for error was zero.
When AI started making noise, I started asking questions. Not because I was scared, but because I needed to know the truth. I needed to know what these tools actually did, where they fell short, and what it all meant for the profession I had given 30 years of my life to.
So I went and found out.
I got certified. I tested the tools. I learned the platforms. I figured out exactly where AI is genuinely useful and exactly where it cannot replace the skill, the judgment, and the professional accountability of a certified human reporter.
I taught court reporters first because that’s my community, and they needed real information, not fear and not hype. Then I started teaching women in business who were spending hours on tasks that AI could handle in minutes. Then I started teaching professionals across industries who just needed someone to show them how to get started without feeling lost.
Your story doesn’t have to look like mine. But if you’re ready to stop sitting on the sidelines and actually start using AI in your work and your life, I’m ready to show you how.
That’s exactly what I’m here for.

Paying off debt was important, but the peace that came with it mattered just as much.
I felt less stressed and more confident about my financial decisions.
Instead of guessing, I understood what I was doing and why.

I started hearing women say they were making good money, but still felt like they were constantly paying bills and never getting ahead.
They wanted to save, invest, prepare for retirement, and help their families, but they needed help figuring out how everything fit together.
I understood because I had been there too.
The more I learned about investing, the more excited I became.
After receiving a Green Jacket at Invest Fest for my investment growth,
women began asking me to help them understand investing too.
I want women to know that investing is something you can learn.
You can start where you are and become more confident over time.
Lanera Wealth Collective was created to help women feel more organized, educated,
and confident about their money.
I want you to understand what you are doing and why.
I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and making financial decisions that make sense for your life.
You do not need to know everything before you begin, you just need to begin learning.
